 UPDATED 3/7/2010

This past week was a good “missions emphasis” week for our church.  We collected almost $1,000.00 for world missions on Sunday. If you were not here, or were not prepared to give last Sunday, you can still participate. Just designate it to World Missions.

This past Wednesday evening we had a surprise visit from our State Missions’ Director, Bro. Ray Freeman, and our newly elected state missionary, Bro. Ray Boone. Our church voted last month to donate our oldest van to Bro. Boone’s mission, and he came Wednesday evening to pick it up. My prayer is that the van will be used extensively for the glory of God.

With our eyes focused around the world and within our state, let’s not lose sight of the need for missions across the street and in our own neighborhoods! Look around and see if there is someone you can invite to church with you next Sunday!
